An Inventive Way for YOU (yes, you with the funny shaped head) to Help Provide H20 to Haitian Children

Drinking water is not so easily found for Haitian children these days.

Drinking water is not so easily found for Haitian children these days.

We wrote about the Haiti earthquake and the Chile earthquake and since then have been interested to see the innovative ways people are helping these still-struggling countries.  Here’s yet another and in our humble opinion this one takes the big ole lemon cheesecake.

Nourish is a company that sells baby and toddler bottled spring water in bottles that are reusable and recyclable, BPA-free, and phthalate-free.  When they found out how many tens of thousands of Haitian children were without clean water, they felt they had to act.  So, the folks at Nourish put together a Haiti donation program whereby a customer (that’s you, silly!) can donate $48 to send a whole case of baby or toddler bottles to Haiti.  Nourish subsidizes the cost and pays for the shipping to Haiti.

But, here’s where it gets really creative.  Nourish has teamed up with our good friends at Jasmere.com, the company that sells eco-friendly stuff for very low prices, to offer this special deal: today only, instead of buying an item you may or may not need, you “buy” a donation to Haiti and because of Jasmere’s cool way of getting all the prices down, you pay $32 for $90 worth of bottled water to be sent to Haiti!  Get it?

If you’re confused, go here where it’s all explained prolly a whole lot betterer.  What better way to spend $32 today?

Oh, and bonus, you also get a free bottle of Nourish water sent to your home and a photo of your donations arriving in Haiti.  Credit card number?  Entered.  Heart? Twenty degrees warmer.  Smile? Wide.
