Every year new movies about travel or travelers are released.  Most are mediocre, some are bad, and some are quite good.  Here’s our eclectic list for best (or just weird and good) travel movies.  For the record, these do not take into account any aspect of socially conscious tourism.

Update: We recently saw Into the Wild and loved it.  We read the book first and were skeptical we’d like the movie but it was very good.  That’s now added to our list.
